What can I say about myself? Well, I was born in Gary, Indiana on June 17, 1969 and am the youngest of seven (two boys and five girls). I graduated from Griffith High School in 1988 and attended Purdue University for a semester, during which I met my ex-husband, Scott. I can't say I was very happy here at school so I quit and moved back to Griffith.

I worked three jobs and finally got a full time job at the Radisson at Star Plaza in Merrillville, Indiana. I was the Accounting Department's Head Cashier. In other words, I did all their deposits, etc. I ran a miniature bank inside the hotel.

Scott and I got married in 1990, right before he joined the Navy and shipped out to the Persian Gulf War on the USS Valley Forge, CG-50, out of San Diego, California. I gave birth to Nelson on November 26, 1990. We moved to San Diego in 1991. We lived ther for 3 years. I worked for a law firm for a little over a year, but couldn't put up with them for too long.

I then worked for the March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation and could have worked there forever but unfortunately we were assigned to a billet in Norfolk, Virginia. We moved 3 weeks after I gave birth to our daughter, Chloe Elizabeth on March 24, 1994.

Scott had gone from a surface ship to a submarine (USS Bergall). He left for a 6 month Mediterranean Sea tour in early July of 1994 and in October of 1994 his time was up with the Navy. We moved back to Griffith, Indiana and in August of 1996 we moved to West Lafayette, Indiana where I worked at the University in the Humanities, Social Sciences and Education Library, a.k.a. HSSE Library and he worked for a wire mill called ESSEX.

The kids and I moved into a 3 bedroom home in Lafayette, Indiana a year ago. We all have our own room and enjoy them very much. We live directly in the middle of both sets of grandparents, so it has worked out great.

I enjoy doing crafts, reading and playing board games with the kids. I also like to collect candles, hearts, Beanie Babies and baskets. Right now we are enjoying being in our home waiting for Spring.
